# BlueprintReview End User License Agreement Version 1.1, effective 4 November 2026. This agreement is between Jiaming Feng, trading as Eric Feng/DACE Productions, New Zealand ("we", "us") and the person or organisation that buys or uses BlueprintReview ("you"). By installing or using BlueprintReview you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't install or use it, and ask for a refund within the 30-day refund period (section 8). ## 1. What this covers "BlueprintReview" means the BlueprintReview desktop application (`blueprintreview-app`), the command-line tool (`blueprintreview`), their documentation, and any updates we provide under this agreement (together, the "Software"). ## 2. License grant When you pay for a license, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the version of the Software you bought, and every update with the same major version number (for example every 1.x release after buying 1.0, the "**update period**"), subject to these terms. - **Individual license (Pro):** one person may use the Software, activated on up to two computers they use at the same time. - **Team license:** the Software may be used within your organisation on as many computers at the same time as the number of seats on your order. You may move a seat to another person or computer by removing the license from the old one. - **Free features:** features we mark as free may be used by anyone, at no charge, under the same terms except section 2's seat limits and the update period. - **Trial and pre-releases:** without a license, the Software runs with every feature for a trial of 14 days from its first use, then with its free features only. Pre-release versions (such as a beta) run with every feature, without a license, until the date set in them, after which the trial applies. Pre-release versions are provided as they are (section 9) and may change, or stop being offered, at any time. - **Automation:** running the command-line tool in your own continuous-integration or code-review systems is allowed. Each machine that runs licensed features uses one of the license's activations; people who only read its output don't need one. You keep the right to use the versions you received during the update period after it ends. A new major version (for example 2.0) may need a new license. ## 3. Restrictions You may not: - sell, rent, lend, sublicense or otherwise redistribute the Software or license keys; - share a license key outside the people it covers, or publish it; - remove or work around the license check, or help someone else do so; - reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, except to the extent that the law applicable to you allows it despite this restriction; - use the Software to build a competing product, or offer it to others as a hosted service. ## 4. Your files The Software reads Unreal Engine asset files you choose to open. It processes them on your computer and does not upload them anywhere. You are responsible for having the right to open and process the files you use it with. Nothing in this agreement gives us any rights to your files. ## 5. Privacy and network access After activation, the Software works offline. It makes these network requests only: - **License activation:** once per computer, sends your license key and a machine identifier (a one-way hash of your operating system's installation ID) to our license server. Removing the license sends the same, to free that computer's place. - **Update check:** fetches a small version file from our website, at most once a day. You can turn this off in the menu under the version number. It sends no telemetry and none of your asset contents. Our privacy policy is at https://blueprintreview.efenggamedev.com/privacy.html. ## 6. Third-party components The Software includes third-party open-source components and fonts, each used under its own license, listed in `THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md` that ships with the Software. Those licenses govern those components; nothing in this agreement restricts rights they give you. BlueprintReview is not made, endorsed or supported by Epic Games, Inc. Unreal and Unreal Engine are trademarks or registered trademarks of Epic Games, Inc. in the United States and elsewhere. ## 7. Updates and support During the update period we may provide updates and reasonable email support at support@efenggamedev.com. We don't promise any specific update, feature or response time. ## 8. Refunds Refunds: a full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked, through our reseller Paddle.com (https://blueprintreview.efenggamedev.com/refunds.html). ## 9. No warranty The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that it will read every asset correctly, that its output matches the Unreal Editor's, or that it will be error-free. Always check important changes in the Unreal Editor before relying on them. Some jurisdictions don't allow excluding implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. ## 10. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from the Software or this agreement. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law. ## 11. Termination This license ends automatically if you breach it and don't fix the breach within 14 days of being told about it. When it ends, you must stop using the Software and delete your copies. Sections 3, 4, 9, 10 and 12 survive termination. ## 12. General - **Governing law:** New Zealand, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings there. - **Consumers:** if you are a consumer, you keep any rights the consumer law of your country of residence gives you that cannot be waived by contract. - **Export:** you will comply with export laws that apply to your use of the Software. - **Entire agreement:** this agreement and your order are the entire agreement about the Software. If a part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. - **Changes:** we may update this agreement for future versions; the version you accepted keeps applying to the versions you received under it.
